Administrative interface exposure via automatic UPnP forwarding
Published Apr 3, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper access control in TerraMaster F2-210 devices through 2021-04-03 allows remote attackers to reach the admin web server. The device's UPnP configuration requests that a compatible router forward TCP port 8181 to the TOS management interface despite labeling it local-only. Exposure requires UPnP on the gateway; administrative actions still require TOS credentials, but the login service becomes Internet-reachable.
