Information theft via stored event-field script
Published Apr 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Web-School ERP 5.0 allows remote attackers to steal a visitor's information through crafted Add Events fields. The event-name and description inputs are stored without adequate sanitization and later rendered as executable JavaScript when an event is viewed. Exploitation requires a visitor to view the poisoned event, and the demonstrated consequence is browser-delivered disclosure of that visitor's information.
