Database compromise via unescaped navigation page identifier
Published May 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in emlog 6.0.0stable allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through the add-page admin endpoint. admin/navbar.php passes an unvalidated pages array key to Navi_Model::addNavi(), which concatenates it into the navi table INSERT statement. A valid administrative session and a crafted POST request are required; successful exploitation reads sensitive database data and permits database modification or disruption.
