Database disclosure via unsanitized report parameter
Published Apr 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Knowage Suite 7.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via the par_year report parameter. The documentexecution/url report handler inserts the unsanitized par_year value into a database query, enabling boolean-based blind injection. A low-privilege account and access to an available Cockpit document are required; successful exploitation exposes database contents and yields superadmin access.
