Denial of service in Mozilla Firefox for Android before 89 allows remote attackers to hang the browser through a malicious webpage. Fenix creates and stacks unlimited prompts for repeated window.open() calls because its prompt handling lacks rate limiting and abuse controls. A user must load the page; the prompts can make the UI unreachable and persist after restart, while desktop Firefox is unaffected.
