Credential disclosure via embedded Web UI JavaScript
Published Oct 18, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Business Automation Workflow 18.0 through 21.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose credentials. The Case Builder Web UI accepts embedded arbitrary JavaScript rather than neutralizing it before browser execution. A low-privileged user must submit the payload, and another user must interact with the affected interface in a trusted session.
