Credential disclosure via embedded Web UI JavaScript
Published Dec 1, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM QRadar SIEM 7.3 and 7.4 allows remote authenticated users to expose session credentials through the Web UI. The Web UI accepts attacker-supplied JavaScript without neutralizing it and executes the script in another user's trusted session. A low-privileged user must embed the script and another user must view the affected interface; the consequence is limited to credential disclosure and interface alteration.
