CVE-2021-29786Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via cleartext credential storage

Published Oct 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Cleartext credential storage in IBM Jazz Team Server products allows remote authenticated users to read stored user credentials. IBM identifies the shared Jazz Foundation component as the locus but does not disclose which store or code path writes credentials without encryption. A valid application account and network access to an affected server are required, and the reported consequence is credential disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
