Credential disclosure via embedded Web UI JavaScript
Published Nov 2, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7 allows remote authenticated users to expose credentials through the Web UI. The Web UI accepts user-supplied JavaScript without adequate output neutralization and executes it in another user's trusted browser session. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to embed the payload and a victim to load the affected interface; impact is limited to session data and page integrity.
