Privilege escalation in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 and 11.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to access the restricted New Job page. IBM has not published the affected function or the authorization check that fails when the New Job page is requested. A low-privileged account is required; the disclosed consequence is unauthorized access to that page, not administrative control.
