Authenticated credential disclosure via stored Web UI JavaScript
Published Aug 30, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.0 and 7.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript. IBM states that the Web UI stores embedded arbitrary JavaScript but has not identified the affected field, request, or missing output-encoding operation. A low-privileged account can persist code that executes in a trusted session, alters Web UI behavior, and can disclose credentials.
