Credential disclosure via stored report-options script
Published Nov 8, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in IBM Security Guardium 10.5, 10.6, 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, and 11.3 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript. The Report display-options editor stores attacker-controlled content without neutralizing executable script before rendering it in the Web UI. Administrative privileges are required to plant the payload, and a separate user must view the affected report options; execution can disclose credentials within that trusted session.
