Unauthenticated server crash via invalid-view SELECT
Published Jun 24, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Denial of service in IBM Db2 9.7, 10.1, 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 allows remote attackers to crash the server via a crafted SELECT statement. Db2 processing of a SELECT from an invalid view terminates the server instead of rejecting the query. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation interrupts database availability until recovery.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
