Denial of service in IBM Db2 11.1.4 and 11.5.5 allows remote attackers to terminate the database server via a crafted SELECT statement. IBM has not disclosed the parser or optimizer locus or why statement processing triggers abnormal termination. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is an availability-only server crash.
