Path traversal in IBM Power System S822LC host firmware OP820 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary files via crafted URLs. The firmware's URL request handler fails to confine attacker-controlled path components to the intended directory before performing deletion. Network access and high privileges are required, and the documented consequence is file deletion rather than data disclosure.
