Process crash via unchecked convolution divisors
Published May 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Divide-by-zero in TFLite convolution in Google TensorFlow allows local users to crash a process with crafted tensor dimensions. The Prepare, EvalHybridPerChannel, and EvalHybrid paths divide NumElements(input) by unchecked channels_in or batch_size values that can be zero. Reachability requires local control of tensor dimensions supplied to an affected convolution path; the arithmetic fault interrupts the hosting process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
