Sensitive-data disclosure via format-string attribute traversal
Published May 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Injection in the Ticketer cog in Dav-Git Dav-Cogs before 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to expose sensitive information. Python str.format evaluates crafted replacement fields against a full discord.Member object, enabling chained attribute access to otherwise hidden values. An authenticated Discord user who can supply the crafted ticket message can disclose data reachable from that object, with no demonstrated code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
