CVE-2021-29461Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked tool arguments

Published Apr 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Code injection in DEMON1A Discord-Recon before 0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to read or write server files via bot commands. The tools-command path accepts argument-bearing requests without the regular-expression validation added to assets/CommandInjection.py in 0.0.3. Access to the Discord bot is required, and file writes can place executable content on the Linux host for code execution.
