Out-of-bounds write in IrfanView 4.57 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when a crafted WPG file is opened. The WPG.dll 3.1.1.0 parser writes past a buffer while processing malicious WPG data at WPG+0x1dda. Execution requires a user to open the file and occurs with the privileges of the IrfanView process.
