Code execution via crafted RLE image

Buffer overflow in IrfanView 4.57 allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying a crafted RLE image. The FORMATS!ReadRAS_W RLE parser performs an out-of-bounds write at offset 0xa74 while decoding attacker-controlled file content. Opening the file is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the privileges of the IrfanView process.
