CVE-2021-29214Network attack vector

Privilege elevation via authenticated code injection

Published Dec 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Code injection in HPE 3PAR StoreServ Management Console 3.4 GA through 3.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to elevate SSMC privileges. HPE has not published the affected component, input field, or operation that permits the injected code to execute. Exploitation requires an authenticated SSMC administrator and user interaction; code execution and privilege elevation remain confined to SSMC and do not affect managed arrays.
