CVE-2021-29205Network attack vector

Browser script execution via undisclosed interface flaw

Published May 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site scripting in HPE iLO 4 before 2.78 and iLO 5 before 2.44 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. HPE identifies the iLO web interface as the affected component but has not published the input field, handler, or missing neutralization operation. Exploitation requires privileged iLO credentials and user interaction; published metrics limit direct impact to confidentiality and integrity without service interruption.
