Insecure deserialization in HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Policy Manager allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. A deserialization function in the web-based management interface processes attacker-controlled serialized input without adequate restrictions, although HPE has not disclosed the function or serialization format. High-privilege management access is required; affected releases are 6.6.x, 6.7.x, 6.8.x before 6.8.9, and 6.9.x before 6.9.6.
