CVE-2021-29148

UI spoofing via path-relative stylesheet import

Published Jul 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Path-relative stylesheet import in the AOS-CX web interface allows attackers to alter displayed pages through crafted CSS references. Relative HTML URLs fail to anchor stylesheet paths to the intended directory, allowing attacker-supplied references to replace expected styles. HPE describes unauthenticated exploitation, while its published assessment requires local low-privilege access, leaving the precise access gate internally inconsistent.
