Sensitive information disclosure via WebUI authorization failure
Published Apr 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Broken access control in ClearPass Policy Manager before 6.9.5, 6.8.9, and 6.7.14-HF1 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve sensitive data. The Web-based management interface fails to enforce the higher privilege required for unspecified information requested by a low-privileged account. Low-privileged WebUI authentication is required; the exposure is limited to information that the account normally cannot access.
