CVE-2021-29104Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unsanitized Manager strings

Published Jul 11, 2021 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in Esri ArcGIS Server Manager 10.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a user's browser. ArcGIS Server Manager accepts and stores attacker-supplied strings that are later rendered without safe neutralization. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, and a separate user's interaction triggers browser-side execution that can read or modify data in that user's session.
