CVE-2021-29090Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via undisclosed PHP input

Published Jun 2, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

SQL injection in the PHP component in Synology Photo Station before 6.8.14-3500 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. Synology has not published the affected function, input, or query-construction error, leaving the mechanism beyond the PHP component undisclosed. A high-privilege Photo Station session is required, and successful exploitation permits attacker-chosen database commands.
