SQL injection in Synology Photo Station before 6.8.14-3500 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands through its thumbnail component. The component fails to neutralize SQL special elements before placing attacker-controlled input into a database command, but the affected request and parameter are undisclosed. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants the database-level ability to read, alter, or delete accessible data.
