A buffer overflow in NETGEAR router, extender, and WiFi-system firmware allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via network requests. NETGEAR has not published the affected component, request field, or copy operation that accepts oversized input. A valid device login is required; public materials do not distinguish a service crash from code execution or other memory-corruption consequences.
