Unintended terms acceptance via cross-site request forgery
Published Feb 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
CSRF in the terms-of-use page in Liferay Portal before 7.3.6 and affected DXP releases lets remote attackers accept terms for a user. Liferay has not published the affected request handler or the specific missing or incorrect anti-CSRF validation beyond identifying the terms-of-use page. A victim with unaccepted terms must be socially engineered into visiting an attacker-controlled page; the bounded consequence is unintended terms acceptance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
