Authenticated script execution via crafted admin URI
Published Mar 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Bitweaver 3.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through the edit-group admin URI. The /users/admin/edit_group.php route reflects a crafted trailing path segment into the returned page without neutralizing script markup. An administrator must open the crafted URL while authenticated; execution occurs in that user's browser context and can expose session cookies or support account takeover.
