Authenticated browser script execution via unescaped path
Published Mar 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Bitweaver 3.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through permissions.php path data. The administrative permissions endpoint renders attacker-controlled URI path content without neutralizing embedded HTML and script markup. Administrative login and victim interaction are required; the injected script runs in the victim's browser and can read session cookies or alter page content.
