Unauthenticated file disclosure via exposed upload directories
Published May 17, 2021 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Information disclosure in InvoicePlane 1.5.11 allows remote attackers to download private upload files through unauthenticated HTTP requests. The uploads, archive, customer_files, import, temp, and temp/mpdf directories lack index documents, so directory indexing exposes their contents when .htaccess restrictions are ineffective. Exposure requires a server configuration that permits directory listing or ignores the supplied .htaccess controls, and the consequence is read-only disclosure of files stored in those directories.
