Remote code execution via crafted ZIP entry
Published Apr 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Path traversal in Zoho ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer 12147 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted ZIP entry. The ZIP archive extraction logic accepts embedded entry paths without constraining their resolved destinations, allowing files to escape the intended directory. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation gives the attacker code execution on the EventLog Analyzer server.
