Arbitrary code execution via malicious repository

Arbitrary code execution in the bit client in Chris Walz bit for Windows before 1.0.5 allows attackers to run code through a crafted repository. On Windows, repository content can hijack the Git executable search path so that a supplied .exe is launched instead of the intended executable. An attacker must induce a user to process the malicious repository; execution then runs with that user's privileges and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
