Cleartext password disclosure via unauthenticated management page
Published Mar 29, 2021 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Cleartext credential exposure in Acexy Wireless-N WiFi Repeater 28.08.06.1 allows remote attackers to read the administrator password. The unauthenticated /password.html endpoint embeds the administrator username and password in JavaScript configuration calls and serves them over HTTP. Network reachability to the web interface is sufficient; interception or direct retrieval discloses credentials but does not itself alter settings.
