CVE-2021-28827Network attack vector

Stored script execution via undisclosed GUI input

Published Apr 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Stored XSS in the Administration GUI of affected TIBCO Administrator and Runtime Agent releases allows remote attackers to execute script. TIBCO has not published the input field, storage path, or rendering operation that fails to neutralize attacker-controlled content. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to persuade a legitimate network user to open the stored content, after which script runs in that user's browser context.
