Command injection in QNAP QTS and QuTS hero NAS firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands over the network. QNAP has not disclosed the affected component, request field, or command-building operation that mishandles attacker-controlled input. No authentication or user interaction is required; QTS before 4.5.1.1540 build 20210107 and QuTS hero before h4.5.1.1582 build 20210217 are affected, permitting command execution in the compromised application.
