Unauthenticated command execution via weaponized clone file
Published Mar 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Remote command execution in affected Xerox printer web interfaces allows remote attackers to run arbitrary commands using a weaponized clone file. Xerox has not disclosed the web UI handler or the unsafe operation that processes the untrusted clone-file contents. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants command execution on the printer or multifunction device.
