Creation of temporary file in directory with insecure permissions in Adobe Premiere Elements 5.2 and earlier allows local users to perform privileged actions. The installer creates a temporary file with permissions that permit an unprivileged local attacker to influence installer operations and invoke high-privilege functions. No user interaction is required, but local access to the installer host is required and the documented impact is integrity-affecting privilege escalation.
