Information disclosure via crafted-file out-of-bounds read
Published Jun 28, 2021 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Animate 21.0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose process data through a crafted file. Animate's file-parsing path reads outside its intended memory bounds while processing attacker-controlled content; Adobe has not disclosed the file format or code locus. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file and exposes information in the current user's process context, with no reported write or code-execution effect.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
