Authenticated script execution via unescaped AD user fields
Published Jun 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Zoho ManageEngine Key Manager Plus before 6001 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The User Management page renders imported first-name, last-name, and email values as HTML without escaping, causing embedded script tags to execute on load. An attacker must control an imported Active Directory user field and wait for an authenticated user to open the page, enabling actions in that user's browser session.
