Machine-account credential disclosure via lock-screen Wi-Fi

Information disclosure in Microsoft Windows WLAN AutoConfig allows physically proximate attackers to capture a machine-account credential response. The lock-screen network selector accepts an attacker-controlled enterprise Wi-Fi connection and sends an MSCHAPv2 challenge response derived from the domain computer account. Exploitation requires physical proximity, a Wi-Fi-capable domain-joined device using machine authentication, and offline recovery of the response; the recovered credential enables host impersonation.
