Account impersonation via unverified URL parameters
Published Apr 8, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Broken authentication in Mitake Smart Stock Selection System 2020/06/23 and earlier allows remote attackers to impersonate users via URL parameters. The mobile-ordering module accepts modified URL parameters without verifying that the requester owns the referenced account, then applies that user's privileges. No login or user interaction is required; exposure includes reading another user's transaction records and submitting trades as that user.
