Information exposure in Eclipse Jetty allows remote authenticated users to download files through a symlinked webapps directory. WebAppProvider compares a noncanonical path supplied by its directory scanner with monitored resources, so it mistakes the symlink target for a deployable static web application. Exposure requires an affected 9.4.32 through 9.4.38, 10.0.0.beta2 through 10.0.1, or 11.0.0.beta2 through 11.0.1 installation whose jetty.base or webapps directory is a symlink, and it is limited to readable directory contents.
