Missing authorization in Camunda Modeler 4.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or write arbitrary files via crafted IPC messages. The preload script exposes ipcRenderer to the renderer, while file handlers accept attacker-supplied paths without authorization checks. The remote path requires attacker-controlled renderer execution; Camunda disputes reachability because remote scripts, unsafe script evaluation, and remote browsing are blocked.
