Unauthenticated service interruption via unlimited API requests
Published Mar 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Denial of service in Grafana Enterprise 6.x before 6.7.6, 7.x before 7.3.10, and 7.4.x before 7.4.5 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. A usage-insights HTTP API endpoint accepts requests without authentication or request limiting, allowing an unbounded request volume. Network reachability to the endpoint is the only reported gate, and the documented consequence is loss of availability rather than data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
