Root code execution via hard-coded debug credentials
Published May 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in Draeger X-Dock Firmware before 03.00.13 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code with root privileges. An unused debug port accepts default credentials embedded in the display firmware and filesystem, exposing a root execution path. Exploitation requires the paired active-debug-code flaw, but no preexisting account or user interaction is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
