Reflected XSS via unsanitized URL content
Published Mar 19, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in login_tw.php in Compass Plus TranzWare (POI) FIMI before 4.2.20.4.2 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. The endpoint uses part of the requested URL to build its response without proper sanitization, reflecting attacker-controlled markup into the page. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted URL, after which script runs in the affected page origin and can read or modify browser-accessible data.
