Stored script execution via unencoded host Alias
Published Jul 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Centreon-Web in Centreon Platform 20.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a host Alias. The Hosts configuration stores the Alias value and later places it into web output without neutralizing attacker-supplied HTML or JavaScript. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and user interaction when another user opens affected host content, enabling script execution in that user's browser.
